Every Second Counts – Help This Baby Get the Life-Saving Surgery They Desperately Need.
Soni’s newborn baby, just one month old, is in critical need of urgent medical attention. Born at Ambedkar Hospital in Delhi on August 7, 2024, the baby began showing troubling symptoms right after birth, including bluish discoloration and rapid breathing. Despite the parents' concerns and initial reassurances from doctors that everything was fine, the situation did not improve. X-rays and blood tests were conducted, and while the results were normal, the parents’ anxiety persisted.
Seeking additional care, they decided to transfer their baby to a private hospital. However, due to financial constraints, they could not afford extended treatment there, and the cause of the baby's symptoms remained unresolved. The family then turned to CNBC Hospital, where the child was admitted. The doctors suspected a congenital heart defect and referred them to the Child Heart Foundation (CHF) with the support of an ambulance.
On August 19, 2024, the family arrived at CHF, where an echocardiogram confirmed that the baby had D-Transposition of the Great Arteries (D-TGA), a serious heart condition that requires immediate intervention. Given the family’s financial situation, the child was enrolled in the CHF HRIDAAN program, which provides critical support for underprivileged children with congenital heart disease.
The baby was admitted to CHF on August 29, 2024, for necessary procedures. However, the condition has now escalated, and the baby urgently needs surgery to survive. The parents are facing a dire situation and are reaching out for help during this crucial time.
We urgently call upon compassionate individuals and generous donors to support Soni’s baby and her family. Your contributions can make a life-saving difference and help cover the costs of the necessary surgery and ongoing care. Every donation brings hope and a chance for a healthy future for this tiny life. Please come forward and extend your support in this critical time.
