A Brave Heart on the Road to Recovery
He was born to Biswajit and Baisakhi in this world into the Torang village of West Bengal. Joy was quite clearly overpowered with concern when, within five months of age, Aravjit began showing signs of a serious heart disorder. Diagnosed with a large Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA), his young life was questioned and at stake.
Aravjit's parents earn only Rs. 7,000 a month. The family lives at Dadri, UP and had Rs. 2 lakhs to save Aravjit's life that they could not afford because of their economic condition. Then, all that was left was the Rs. 10,000 in their pockets until they heard of Child Heart Foundation (CHF) associated with IRFC (Indian Railway Finance Corporation).
All that real financial assistance Aravjit's family needed came through CHF's Hridaan Programme. On 24th July, 2024, he was admitted to Indraprastha Apollo Hospital Jasola. His PDA closure procedure was successfully done and in the next couple of days he was discharged. He along with his parents were relieved.
Today, Aravjit leads a healthy life with the heart bright and healthy as ever. The family never fails to thank Child Heart Foundation and their CSR partner, IRFC, for giving back their son a good life by pumping life into his heart.
