Pt. Siyanshi
A Journey of Hope and Healing
One-month-old Siyanshi, born to parents Sumit and Sonu Raghav, lives in the Sudatpur Extension of North East Delhi. Her family was elated with her birth. However, within two months of her birth, the parents were to witness a tragic test. Siyanshi was diagnosed with Atrioventricular (AV) Concordance and Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA), requiring an immediate operation. The life-saving Arterial Switch Operation was estimated to be around Rs. 4 lakhs for which her family had no budget.
His sales executive income was only good enough to raise a maximum of Rs. 40,000 in their books every month-they were crying out. With five members in the family, two dependents aged 55 and 52, respectively, the financial burden of their daughter's treatment had grown too stressful for them. They had been referred from Satya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital, Delhi to the Child Heart Foundation (CHF).
CHF's Hridaan Program, through support from CSR partner IRFC, Indian Railway Finance Corporation, provided Siyanshi's family with critical support. Surgery was scheduled at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Jasola.
Today, Siyanshi is recovering very well after a successful operation. She is hopeful and thankful to CHF and IRFC for making this new beginning possible for her. Now that the heart of Siyanshi has healed, her family can finally start looking forward to a brighter and healthier life together.
