Arhan is a 3.9 year old baby boy from Saharanpur who was diagnosed with CHD right from birth. The chief complaints were bluish discolouration of lips and nails. But his parents did not seek medical attention at that point of time. Therefore, the little boy was left untreated. As time passed by, his condition got worsened and he was experiencing shortness of breath very often. It became a reason of concern for the parents and they went to UPRBSK for consultations. There it was confirmed that he has CHD and required intervention. So. The doctor advised them to visit CHF and meet Dr. Kohli for the treatment. In the dec 2024 they came to Delhi to meet Dr. Kohli with hopes that their child will get the best treatment.
After a thorough examination, Arhan was diagnosed with complex heart disease and need to undergo Glenn procedure. On 26th dec he got admitted to IAH for the surgery. The surgery was successful and the little boy turned out to be a fighter. Arhan’s story is a beacon of hope for countless families facing similar challenges. It is a reminder that with timely intervention, skilled medical care, and unwavering love, even the smallest hearts can overcome the biggest hurdles.
