V.Yashini was diagnoised to have Heart Diseases in New Born Period due to CYANOSIS.
In 2010 at the age of 2 years, the Echo Report showed TOF withinfundibular/valve/Supravalver PS.S/P TOF ICR ( VSD Closure + OPV + Augumentationof Pulmonary Annulus+MPA) in Apollo Hospital
Birth History: Child was born in 17th June 2008 in Madhavaram near Chennai at St Antonys Hospital, the birth term through normal vaginal delivery with birth weight of 3 kg.
V. Yashini was having easy fatiquability for the past 2 to 3 months and occasional history of Palpitation present during the period. She was 16 years and 6 months and was admitted with above mentioned diagnosis and findings.
V.Yashini went through the pre prodedure and investigations, consent was obtained and Pre Anesthetic checkup was done. V.Yashini underwent Transcathter Pulmonary Valve Implantation on 13.01.2025.
ECHO Report showed pulmonary valve opening well. Cath site healthy. Post Procedure Echo Report on 15.01.2025 showed pulmonary valve in position and opening well with good flow across the valve.
Finally, V,Yashini was clinically and hemodynamically stable and she was discharged with following medical advice of normal diet and physical activity.
