Support a Child

2025-2026

Pt. Sanaya Arya

Sanaya’s journey is a story of resilience, endless hope, and the power of timely support.

Sanaya was born at a government hospital in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. When she was around six months old, her parents began noticing worrying signs—bluish discoloration (cyanosis), breathing difficulties, and frequent cough and cold. Concerned for her health, she was referred through RBSK to a hospital in Gomti Nagar for further evaluation.

Doctors suspected a congenital heart disease (CHD) and advised an echocardiography. During this time, Sanaya also underwent surgery for a lip deformity. Despite ongoing treatment, her condition remained concerning, especially the bluish tint, and she was referred to Lucknow Medical College for a more detailed diagnosis.

After evaluation, surgery was advised.

Determined to save their daughter, Sanaya’s parents traveled across cities—Palwal, Chhattisgarh, and Aligarh—searching for the right treatment. In Chhattisgarh, they were told her condition was serious. In Aligarh, doctors highlighted complications due to fever and cough. At Satya Sai Hospital in Palwal, they did not receive the guidance they needed.

After going from one hospital to another, their journey finally brought them to Sharda Hospital, Faridabad—where hope found them.

There, they came in contact with the Child Heart Foundation (CHF) team and were guided to the CHF centre. Meeting Dr. Vikas Kohli marked a turning point in Sanaya’s life. After thorough evaluation and documentation, she was registered under CHF for treatment and support.

Sanaya was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), a serious congenital heart condition requiring surgical correction. With the complete support of ABC, her life-saving surgery was planned.

On 15th September 2025, under expert medical care, Sanaya successfully underwent TOF repair.

Today, she is on regular follow-ups and recovering well—her journey now filled with hope, healing, and a chance at a healthier future.

Sanaya’s story shows that when determination meets the right support, even the toughest battles can be won.
