Support a Child

2025-2026

Pt. Pooja

Pooja’s story is a beautiful reminder that hope, when supported at the right time, can change a child’s life forever.

In a small village near Agra lived a cheerful three-year-old girl named Pooja, the beloved daughter of Neha and Yadendra Singh. Her parents worked hard to build a simple life, with her father tirelessly working in a factory away from home. From the moment she was born, Pooja filled their lives with joy and laughter.

But as she began to grow, her parents noticed that something wasn’t right. Pooja would tire easily, struggled to walk long distances, and often appeared breathless. Concerned, they took her to a local health center.

Doctors suspected a heart-related issue and advised further tests. With growing fear but unwavering hope, her parents took her for detailed evaluation. After multiple consultations and an echocardiography, the diagnosis was confirmed—Pooja was suffering from a congenital heart defect that required timely treatment.

Their journey took a hopeful turn when they were referred through RBSK (Agra) to the Child Heart Foundation (CHF).

With the combined support of ABC and CHF, Pooja received the care she urgently needed. She was admitted to Apollo Hospital on 31st October 2025, where she underwent her life-saving surgery. Her parents stood strong through every moment, holding on to hope and faith.

The surgery was successful.

Today, Pooja’s heart beats stronger than ever, and she is on her way to a healthier, brighter future.

Her family expresses heartfelt gratitude to ABC and the Child Heart Foundation for giving their little girl a second chance at life.

Pooja’s journey shows that even the smallest hearts can overcome the biggest challenges—when care, compassion, and support come together.
