Support a Child

2025-2026

Pt. Ananya Mukkera

Baby Ananya’s journey is a story of resilience, hope, and the power of timely support.

Baby Ananya Mukkera, the beloved daughter of Mr. Krishna and Mrs. Shirisha, stands as a symbol of strength in the face of adversity. Once living a stable life, the family’s world changed drastically when Ananya’s father, Krishna—previously the sole earning member working in the finance sector—fell seriously ill and had to undergo multiple medical procedures. Due to his condition, he is currently unable to work, leaving the family under severe financial stress.

Amidst this challenging phase, another hardship emerged.

When Ananya was just a few months old, her parents began noticing concerning symptoms. After detailed medical evaluations, she was diagnosed with a Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD)—a congenital heart condition that required urgent surgical intervention.

The diagnosis was devastating. Doctors advised that Ananya would need VSD closure surgery to survive and lead a healthy life. However, the cost of treatment was far beyond the family’s reach, especially with no stable source of income.

Despite fear and uncertainty, her parents held on to hope.

At this critical moment, support came through the collective efforts of ABC, Child Heart Foundation, and Pure Little Heart Foundation. With their timely financial assistance and care, Ananya was able to receive the life-saving treatment she urgently needed.

Under the expert guidance of Dr. K. Ganapathy, the surgery was successfully performed. His skill, dedication, and compassionate care played a vital role in saving Ananya’s life.

Following the procedure, Ananya showed remarkable recovery.

Today, she is growing well, healthy, and bringing immense joy back into her family’s life. This intervention not only healed her little heart but also restored hope and dignity to a family going through one of the most difficult times of their lives.

Ananya’s story reminds us that when compassion and support come together, even the most fragile lives can be saved.
