Mrs. Rajitha and Mr. Naveen, a hardworking farming couple from Siddipet, were eagerly waiting to welcome their child. But their happiness was shadowed by concern when, during pregnancy, a Level II ultrasound revealed a Congenital Heart Defect (CHD)—specifically a Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD).
After the baby was born, an echocardiogram reconfirmed the diagnosis at just 27 days old. Doctors advised an urgent VSD surgical closure, estimating the cost at around ₹5 lakhs.
For a family solely dependent on farming, arranging such a large amount was unimaginable. The fear of losing their newborn, combined with financial stress, left the parents deeply distressed.
