A Miracle of Hope: A Family’s Journey from Loss to Life
Mrs. Shaheen and her husband, Mr. Shail Mouli, a humble and hardworking couple from Kadapa, had endured years of silent struggle. Working in a hostel, Mr. Shail Mouli did everything he could to support his family. Yet life had tested them deeply—the couple had already suffered the heartbreaking loss of two pregnancies.
When Shaheen conceived for the third time, they held onto hope with trembling hearts. They prayed that this child would bring healing to their pain.
A Fragile Beginning
Soon after birth, their baby was diagnosed with a serious Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) that required urgent Pulmonary Artery (PA) Banding, a life-saving procedure.
Already emotionally vulnerable, the couple now faced an overwhelming financial burden. With limited means, arranging funds for such a complex surgery seemed impossible. It felt like their world was slipping away once again.
A Ray of Hope
Just when hope seemed lost, support arrived.
The baby was shifted to Rainbow Children Heart Institute, where the case was taken up by renowned cardiac surgeon Dr. K. Ganapathy. With compassion and confidence, he reassured the family and prepared them for the journey ahead.
With the support of Mankind Pharma and the Child Heart Foundation (CHF), the family finally had a chance to save their child.

Today, their little one is healthy, stable, and growing beautifully, filling their lives with happiness they once feared they might never experience.
