Parikshit’s Heart Surgery Journey: Specialized Care for a Complex Congenital Heart Defect
Parikshit’s journey began when doctors noticed two concerning signs—cyanosis and difficulty breathing.
Cyanosis, which can cause a bluish discoloration of the lips, skin, or nails, can sometimes indicate that the body is not receiving enough oxygen. Further cardiac evaluation revealed that Parikshit had a complex congenital heart defect known as Truncus Arteriosus Type II.
The diagnosis meant that Parikshit needed highly specialized pediatric cardiac care and complex heart surgery.
For his family, however, accessing such advanced treatment came with an enormous financial challenge.

Parikshit’s father works as a farmer and earns approximately ₹96,000 annually.
