Pediatric Cardiac Centers® - We set up and operate Pediatric Cardiac OPD centers in district hospitals

Setting up Pediatric Cardiac Centers in Government District Hospitals

Setting up a pediatric cardiac OPD center in a government hospital is crucial for providing specialized care to children with heart conditions. It ensures early detection and treatment, improving survival rates and quality of life. The center offers accessible, affordable care for underprivileged families, reducing the financial burden and travel for specialized services. It also enhances the hospital's overall capability, fostering comprehensive, multidisciplinary care.

Additionally, it supports public health initiatives by addressing congenital heart diseases, ultimately reducing long-term healthcare costs and promoting health equity within the community.

What We Offer

By setting up pediatric cardiac OPD (Outpatient Department) centers in government district hospitals, we offer several impactful services:

  • Accessibility: Providing specialized cardiac care closer to home for children in rural and underserved areas, reducing travel and financial burdens for families.
  • Early Diagnosis: Facilitating early detection of congenital heart defects (CHDs) through regular screenings and consultations, ensuring timely intervention and treatment planning.
  • Comprehensive Care: Offering holistic care that includes diagnostic evaluations, medical consultations, and treatment recommendations by pediatric cardiologists and specialists.
  • Community Impact: Promoting awareness about CHDs, prevention strategies, and the importance of regular cardiac check-ups within local communities.

By addressing these considerations, government district hospitals can effectively establish pediatric cardiac centers, significantly improving access to specialized cardiac care for children and reducing the burden of pediatric heart diseases in the community.

Making an Impact

We have successfully set up and are operating a pediatric cardiac center at Balakram Hospital in Timarpur, North east, Delhi.

In the first phase, a pediatric cardiac OPD is operational which is providing access to screening, diagnosis and consultation to children who are referred there.

In the near future, we are replicating similar model in other district hospitals all over the country.
